Turbo-Glide!!!
July 24-26 , 2001
Looking down the street in Gruyere, you can see part of the castle at the end of the street.
After walking through a doorway cut in one of the castle walls, Teri found herself standing in a fireplace.
I'd hate to have to haul wood for this thing.
Looking down from one of the top floors of the castle at one of the gardens.
Another view from one of the top floors of the castle overlooking the valley below.
Looking from the top floor of the castle at the village below Gruyere.
Zermatt with the Matterhorn in the background.
Riding the train back down the mountain from Zermatt to Taasch.
Looking across the valley to Clausen Pass. Note the steam locomotive climbing out of the valley and the road zig zagging up the mountain.
The hotel Belevedere at the top of Clausen Pass. The waterfall is fed by the glaciers that cover the mountain.
Just taking another break for a bier and a glass of wine at the top of Clausen Pass.
